I am excited to be teaching the Fabulous 5th Grade at Ivy Hall Academy. As a lover of learning, I try to encourage my students to develop a joy in experiencing all that life offers. To love learning is to open a lifetime of rich understanding where each individual recognizes the power of one and the responsibility we all have to each other. In our classroom we will challenge each other to achieve our full potential both individually and as a unit.

Remember school begins at 8:45 a.m. You may enter the classroom at 8:30 a.m. Check that you are wearing the complete school uniform. You must wear socks with your shoes. Cedar City Overnighter: The campsite is booked! We will be taking 8 tents. Be prepared to share. Teachers will make the assignments. More information will be coming home as time gets closer. If your student will not be attending the campout, there will be alternate activities at the school, or they may choose to stay home. Parent/Teacher Conferences. For those who have not yet signed up, the list is on the classroom door, with available time slots indicated. Book Report for August/September: Biography or Autobiography. Minimum of 150 pages. Report format - complete the poster that I will give you in September. If you have a camera & permission, please bring it to school (Tuesday & Wednesday) for a photographic essay.
