I am excited to be teaching the Sensational 6th Grade at Ivy Hall Academy. As a lover of learning, I try to encourage my students to develop a joy in experiencing all that life offers. To love learning is to open a lifetime of rich understanding where each individual recognizes the power of one and the responsibility we all have to each other. In our classroom we will challenge each other to achieve our full potential both individually and as a unit.

We are having a "healthy" Valentine's Party this year. Students may bring a small gift for every student in the class if they wish. Remember we have "no sugar" students. Ski Days  Remember that there will be no school lunch on ski days and pick-up time will begin at 11:15. Students need to be at Sundance and ready to begin classes on time at 1:00 p.m.  6th Grade Assembly: No, it's not here YET, but our assembly will begin to evolve during the next month or so. Be prepared to listen as your student practices new songs and speaking assignments. We will no doubt ask for some help as we progress in our creative challenges. Memorization: We are learning James Berry's One. This will be completed in class, but students might want to look it over at home     .
