THEME: Family  Letters P and A PHONICS:We will begin reviewing all letters, focusing on the letter P and A MATH: We will be playing math games this week with colors, shapes and numbers. MEMORIZATION:  Grandma's House I love to go to Grandma's House                    (Cross arms across chest) Cause Grandma always reads to me.             (Hold hands like a book) Before she reads, I know she needs                (Point to side of head) Her glasses so that she can see...                     (Hold fingers to eyes, circles) "Wherever can my glasses be?"                     (Hold hands out to side) Grandma always questions me.                      (Shake pointer finger) We look in drawers, behind closed doors,      (Open drawer, look behind door) We search the closet shelves and floors.         (Hands up high, hands to floor) Then Grandma finds the hiding place            (Point to top of head) A smile breaks out across her face.                 (Fingers to corners of mouth) I sit gently on her knee,                                    (Pat knee) And then my Grandma reads to me.              (Hold hands like a book) (We have been learning this song in class, this is what we will perform for Grandparents Day at the end of the month.)
